"Rediscovering Ramona" is an auto-fiction novel about witty Los Angeles writer Ramona 'Ro' Wilder. After a life-threatening event, she limits her social interactions to the view from her window in bohemian Laurel Canyon.

Ro's self-imposed isolation is disrupted only by her annoying neighbor Fred, who tests her patience on a daily basis. Against all odds, the two scrappy--and often hilarious-- neighbors become accidental friends during the prolonged days of the pandemic. When Fred unexpectedly dies, Ro learns that Fred has left a will requesting her to meet his mysterious friend in  Morocco to dispose of his ashes.

The story's many entertaining supporting characters help flesh out this fictionalized account of true events in the author's life. The humorous yet poignant work takes the reader from the Hollywood Hills to the casbah of Marrakesh as Ramona rediscovers herself and embraces love once again.
